Rugby 13 is definitely part of Catalonian culture, where it was developed, and pushed to the sports’ center stage.

It’s a sport that calls for anticipation, courage and combative spirit from its athletes.   Dark Dog actively supports the moral values, team spirit and solidarity required for this sport.

Until 2006, the Catalonian Dragons went by the name of Union Teiziste Catalane, but the team changed its name to fit closer to the image and performance of the team. Since then, the team has won many titles, to the great joy of its fans.

The Catalonian Dragons have 3 flourishing rugby schools: the XIII Catalan, St Estève XIII and Toulouges XIII, for the training of the best players. The French Federation of Rugby XIII is one of France’s biggest clubs, with 500 members and more than 50 managers.
